Always wanted a chargeable car but electric vehicle chargers are not that close to your home/work?!
Lightyear introduced the first solar vehicle, which has also stated that they are ready for serial production.
Model Lightyear 0 has five square meters of solar panels, which can generate enough energy for 70 kilometers of driving per day. The Lightyear 0 isn’t a speed demon; it’s designed for efficiency above everything else. It boasts a 170 horsepower engine, a peak speed of 100 mph, and a 62 mph time of 10 seconds.
Lightyear estimates that someone with a 22-mile daily commute might drive for up to seven months without plugging in their car, depending on where they reside.
If we need to talk about the interior is a combination in between minimal, and futuristic, making it look really smooth. Vegan leather, recycled plastic bottles, and palm wood trim are among the sustainable materials used. The Lightyear 0 features a 10.1-inch touchscreen and a limited number of tactile buttons.
A total of 946 automobiles will be produced by Lightyear. Each will set you back 250,000 euros ($263,000). By 2025, the business hopes to release a more inexpensive, mass-market vehicle.
However, Lightyear believes that their vehicles will be on the road shortly. According to Lightyear, manufacturing will begin this year through a contracted manufacturer, with the first automobiles arriving in November.
