A 1984 Nissan 300 ZX, one of the vehicles used by renowned Hollywood actor Tom Cruise, has just been listed for sale. It is a 300ZX model that Newman/Sharp Racing constructed for the SSA class races, and Cruise is the primary driver.
The Sport Car Club of America national championship was won in 1986 by the team driven by Paul Newman and Bob Sharp, and the following year they added two new drivers in Scott Sharp and the aforementioned Cruise. The Nissan was purchased by the current owner in 2004 and is currently up for sale. Two years later, it was entirely repaired, stripped, and painted in a mix of red, blue, and white.
205/55 Road King Grenadier SE tires are now mounted to a pair of 15-inch wheels on the vehicle. The vehicle includes Nismo anti-roll bars and disc brakes on the front and rear. A 3.0 liter V6 engine with an ECU, HKS ignition system, stainless steel exhaust system, MSA throttle body, and intake manifold powers the Nissan 300ZX.
A five-speed manual gearbox transfers power to the rear wheels. Although it is a race vehicle, it still has upholstery and an AM/FM radio inside, along with black and red seats with Stroud seat belts and a roll cage. The automobile has covered roughly 8000 kilometers overall.
