The limited edition BMW M4 50 Jahre Edition reaches the European market. The Bavarian manufacturer is marking the jubilee – half a century of the sports car unit M.
One of the cars that BMW will celebrate the 50th birthday of this unit is the M4 50 Jahre Edition.
This car will be available to buyers in Europe in five different shades: Carbon Black, Macao Blue, Brand Hatch Gray, Imola Red and San Marino Blue.
In the Chinese market M4 50 Jahre Edition will be offered in two other colors: Fire Orange and Stratus Gray, where a kind of tiger of this country will be honored.
All BMW M4 units from this limited series will also have special features inside, including door sills with the inscription “Edition 50 Jahre BMW M” as well as the metal plate on the center console with the same inscription.
The M4 50 Jahre Edition is based on the BMW M4 Competition. As such, under the hood is the 3-liter six-cylinder engine and two turbo-chargers, which enable it to produce 510 horsepower.
BMW says the special jubilee series will be limited – by not specifying the exact unit number to be produced.
